IT'S all systems go for Nantwich Town as the club and fans prepare to kick-off arguably the most important season of their history on Saturday.
Nigel Gleghorn's side are determined to get into the top four of North West Counties Division One and capitalise on a golden opportunity of promotion.
The player-boss says they couldn't be more prepared for the challenge which faces them beginning against Squires Gate at Jackson Avenue on Saturday.
"The build up has been good and we're ready," he said.
Gleghorn was further heartened by the Dabbers' performance against Unibond outfit Kidsgrove Athletic, last Saturday.
Last season's top scorer Wes Wilkinson grabbed a deserved leveller ten minutes from time to seal a 1-1 result.
"It was a decent game and a good performance," he added.
"We deserved the draw and it was a solid all-round team effort."
Six points will be the target as Nantwich face two games in three days with a Monday evening trip to Curzon Ashton, next up.
"Jardine and Hall are still to come back and we'll assess if they are fit enough but other than them, we've got a full squad for Saturday," continued Gleghorn.
"I think we've got a big enough squad to cope with two games in three days and we have got to play Curzon sooner or later.
"We want a decent start."
