THE annual Birchwood 10K Road Race will tkae place on Sunday.
Approximately 700 runners are expected to take part, including those involved in the incorporated Cheshire Championships.
The race will start at Silver Birch pub at 10.30am, following a flat, fast course around Birchwood, Gorse Covert and Croft.
A fun run on a two-mile course will be the curtain-raiser at 9.45am.
Entries will be taken for the races on the day.
For the main race, entries will be needed by 9.30am.
As well as it being an individual event, team entries are invited for the corporate challenge.
Teams will need to be made up of at least one veteran over the age of 40, male or female, and there should be at least one female in the team.
Birchwood 10K is organised by Spectrum Striders Running Club.
