This follows their 213-207 victory at King at Queen A. B. Charnley and S. Roylance shared the sweep, 21-10. Ray Goodhand was the top homester 21-5.
Wins from Brian Welsby, 21-6 and Eric Boyle, 21-7, helped Grange A to a 221-175 success at Monk Sports A.
Farmers A defeated Tetley A 236-178. Best wins came from Ray Bate, 21-6, J. Wood, 21-7 and Jason Lockett, 21-8.
Section B leaders Hollins Park B drew 218-218 at Red Lion A. Their best winner was J. Radley, 21-10. Dave Griffiths replied with a 21-13 card.
Grange B stayed second following their 239-146 victory over St. Oswalds B. Top winners were Ken Forster, 21-5, B. Wilkinson, 21-7 and Ted Green, 21-9.
Richmonds defeated Bulls Head A 199-188. W. Allen, 21-8 and B. Moloney, 21-9, were their best performers. T. Creasey and R. McCormack shared the visitors' sweep 21-3.
Wins from Eric Morris, 21-5 and Roy Mather, 21-8, helped Rylands B to a 225-209 success over Monks Hall. Tony Brown replied with a 21-13 card.
Only four points separate leaders King and Queen B and Pierpoints A at the top of Section C.
King won 227-213 at Woolston B. Top winner was Eddie Best, 21-10.
Pierpoints A defeated Padgate T&BC 238-183. Joe Massey's 21-9 card was backed up by 21-10 wins from M. Ellison and S. Phillips.
Brooklands B and Eagle A drew 195-195. J. Worral was the top homester 21-8 while R. Boardman won 21-8 for the visitors.
British Rail's 234-200 victory over Saracens Head included wins from S. Leigh, 21-3, and G. Markey, 21-12.
