Team gym abroad

WARRINGTON Gymnastics Club's promising team gym girls spent last week training in Sweden.

They were invited to the international camp as a result of the Great Britain team winning the Nordic Cup over there last year.

Most of the Warrington girls who represented that GB team have now moved up to senior level and a decision is yet to be made whether or not to defend the title.

Team gym coach Neil Salisbury said: "Twelve girls went to Sweden to train and they learned a lot. They had a lot of respect from the other teams that were also training there and it was a good experience all round."
