THE body of a man found in Preston Brook is yet to be identified after a post mortem examination proved inconclusive.
Police were called to farmland, just off the M56, at 4pm, last Thursday, after a farm worker discovered the body.
Dental records will now be used to identify the body but a spokesman for Cheshire Police said that there was no evidence to suggest that the death was suspicious.
Formal identification is expected to take place shortly.
The body is believed to have been lying in the field for several weeks.
