AS a visiting worker in the area I try to read the Knutsford Guardian to try to understand the local issues.
In my home town of Northampton I have suffered for 10 years with the 'Middle Walk' problem.
But this year at a cost of over £5,000 residents solved the problem forever after repeated protests. A strong metal fence was put up stopping all walk-thru' problems. We now live in a quiet cul-de-sac. Our crime rate has dropped to almost zero and our cars are no longer vandalised.
In fact our street is so quiet that small children have been tempted to play in it.
