EMERGENCY crews were called to a house in Kimberly Avenue, Thatto Heath after reports a man had been beaten up by a gang of men armed with baseball bats.
An ambulance went to the house shortly after 4pm on Wednesday, July 30 after a call from police. However, a spokesperson for the ambulance service said the casualty was not taken to hospital.
A police spokeswoman, meanwhile, confirmed they were called to an incident. However, she added that the victim did not make a complaint about the incident and so police could not comment any further.
