On a perfect day for cricket Mere won the toss and elected to bat.

Jamie Carroll and Rik Plews opened the innings, which came to close at 146 for 6.

Wilmslow fought back all the way, but excellent bowling and fielding from the Mere marvels proved too much.

Mack Moore and Anton Richard both took 3 wickets each.
