A LAW lecturer who started playing golf at 13 has made history at Mere Golf and Country Club.
Natalie Adams, 29, has become the club's first woman teaching professional.
With over four years experience of professional golf, she has already made her mark in the traditionally male-orientated sport, proving herself more than capable of maintaining the high standards of care and instruction for which Mere is renowned.
As teaching professional Natalie will be responsible for the development and delivery of tuition to both members and non-members.
"The club has an excellent teaching record that fits with my own belief that private tuition is the key to mastering the sport," she said.
Natalie was a lecturer in law at South Cheshire College and West Nottinghamshire College, and has a degree in law.
