THE funeral was held recently for Anne Burrows, who died on July 15, aged 52.

Anne was born in Altrincham to Sybil and the late James Moore. She was the oldest in the family and had six brothers and four sisters. She attended school in Castle and later Hartford.

She married Steve in August 2000 and they settled in Marshalls Lane, Greenbank.

She worked in shops and latterly was the manageress of the British Heart Foundation Shop in Congleton.

Anne loved sewing and made outfits for Northwich Carnival, her sister's wedding dress and a christening gown for her niece.

She also enjoyed listening to classical music, reading, walking in Cheshire and the Lake District and holidays. She leaves her husband Steve and her four children.

As well as floral tributes, donations were received for St Luke's Hospice.

The funeral service was held at Hartford Parish Church, followed by interment at Northwich Cemetery. The Rev George Agar conducted the service.
