A THUG put a man in a headlock and held a blade to his throat during a robbery.

The 22-year-old victim was attacked near Pound Stretcher in the Windmill Centre, at 10am on Monday.

Police say another man approached him, put him in a headlock and put a bladed instrument against his throat, and began demanding money.

When he didn't get money, the robber began rubbing it against the victim's neck.

The victim began to fear for his safety and handed over his money, and the raider fled toward Morrisons car park, and was last seen by he Derby pub on Albert Road.

The 22-year-old was left shaken and with a reddening to his neck.

The robber is described as 6ft 1ins tall, of medium build, with short, brown or mousy hair, wearing a navy blue baseball cap, a Reebok tracksuit top, navy blue tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
