CALIFORNIAN glam rockers, Jane's Addiction, have come back after more than a dozen years in the wilderness.

Their new studio album Strays is out now on general release backed up by its first single Just Because.

The record re-unites the power-trio of vocalist Perry Farrell, one-time Red Hot Chili Pepper guitarist, Dave Navarro, and drummer Steven Perkins.

While welcoming new bassist Chris Chaney and the legendary producer of Pink Floyd's The Wall, Bob Ezrin.

Jane's Addiction exploded out of L.A.'s gritty music scene in the mid-1980s with their larger-than-life mix of punk, metal and indie.

Strays joins the bands canon of studio albums that includes 1987's Jane's Addiction, 1988's Nothing Shocking and 1990's double platinum Ritual De Lo Habitual.

The latter contains the song Been Caught Stealing which quickly became the band's signature theme tune.

No doubt Jane's Addiction is hoping that Strays will provide them with a similar hit.

The band is currently playing concerts across America as part of this summer's Lollapalooza tour.
