WARRINGTON Borough Council is set to temporarily close Owen Street in Bewsey.
The road is being closed so that work can be carried out on the sub-station associated with the nearby retail development.
However it is anticipated that the work will only require the road to be closed for one day, from Thursday, August 26.
The alternative route will be via the A49 Winwick Road, Pinners Brow, B5210 Tanners Lane and Dallam Lane.
