ROAMING around Rixton and Hollins Green couldn't be simpler after the unveiling of a new noticeboard dreamed up by the Friends of St Helen's Church.
Keen walker and artist Anne Farrin, who was also responsible for the Millennium map of Hollinfare, spent more than 100 hours on the in-depth project.
The map was unveiled by both Warrington North MP Helen Jones and Clr Pauline Nelson, Mayor of Warrington, in a ceremony.
It was supported by a £500 grant from the Clear Glaze Partnership, part of the Mersey Forest initiative.
Situated on the green near the church, the map gives colourful illustrations of routes through the Mersey Valley.
