TARPORLEY Community High School scored its best results yet with a record 98 per cent pass rate in last week's A-levels.
Headteacher Sarah Lee said she was delighted that the pass rate had continued to rise and paid tribute to the hard work and dedication of both students and teachers.
She added: "Our 72 year 13 students have, between them, been entered for 279 subjects.
"More than three quarters of these entries resulted in A to C grades and nearly a fifth resulted in A grades. Our average points score was 287.4, the equivalent of three high grades at A level.
"For these young people who have done so well, their two years of advanced level study have been very demanding.
"Their success is a tribute to their determination and talent, to excellent teaching and to strong support from their families."
