Lara Michelle Jackson
THE wedding has taken place of 23-year-old Robert Stephen Johnson and 23-year-old Lara Michelle Jackson. Robert is the only son of Stephen and Sheila Johnson of Wentworth Close, Rudheath and Lara only daughter of Peter and Dianne Jackson of Heyes Park, Hartford.
Rev Lesley Eden officiated at St Mary's Parish Church, Whitegate and her father Peter Jackson gave the bride away. She wore a strapless fitted ivory bodice decorated with Austrian pearl and crystal detail, plain ivory skirt with train, and tiara of pearls and crystal securing an ivory hip-length veil. She carried a simple but modern bouquet of aubergine calla lilies and pink orchids. A pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings completed her outfit.
Graham Hawthorne, best friend of the groom, was best man with groomsmen Paul Jackson, bride's brother, and groom's friends Paul King and Alistair Clarken. Matron of honour was Rachael Hawthorne, friend of both bride and groom and chief bridesmaid Laura Trotman, school friend of bride's. Bridesmaids included Sharon Johnson, groom's sister, bride's friends Claire Farrell and Helen Eccles and two-year-old Jade Hawthorne daughter of best man and matron of honour.
