Mr Gerald Dykes, husband of Mrs Audrey Dykes, died of Parkinson's Disease on July 26. He was 73.
Mr Dykes, of Summerville Nursing Home, Grappenhall, lived in Warrington all his life.
He was employed as a maintenance fitter at British Alcan for 25 years prior to retirement.
Mr Dykes enjoyed gardening, caravanning and holidays.
He leaves his wife, two sons, four grandchildren and two sisters.
A service was held on August 1, at Walton Lea, prior to cremation. Jean Shepherd officiated.
