Mrs Sheila Leicester wife of the late Mr Alfred Leicester, died of pneumonia on June 21. She was 65.
Mrs Leicester, of Bewsey Road, lived in Warrington all her life.
She was employed at Stotherts before her marriage.
In her younger days Mrs Leicester enjoyed dancing at the Towers, where she met her husband. She also enjoyed gardening, wildlife and the company of her family. In later years, ill health curbed her activities but she still enjoyed days out with the family, watching quizzes, soaps and wildlife programmes on TV and sustained her keen interest in antiques.
Mrs Leicester leaves three daughters, two sons, 10 grandchildren, three great-granddaughters and two sisters.
A service was held on June 30, at St Barnabas' Church, followed by interment at Fox Covert. The Rev Karen Timmis officiated.
Arrangements were made by Co-operative Funeral Services.
