NASHVILLE rockers Kings of Leon are releasing their new single Molly's Chambers next weekend from their acclaimed Youth and Young Manhood LP.
Hailed as one of the best debuts for years, the three coiffured Followill brothers (and their equally shaggy first cousin Matthew), Kings of Leon are a very primal band, strangely both haunting and visceral, who are wowing audiences up and down the country.
The single also contains a live version of Wasted Time and Spiral Staircase, while the 10-inch vinyl release includes a live version of Holly Roller Novocaine.
With a thrashy punk style, cowbells, and lead vocals that sound like the front man has just risen from his pit after a particularly punishing bender, The Kings Of Leon look and sound the part.
The album achieved gold status two weeks after its release on July 7, reaching number three in the charts and staying in the Top 6 ever since.
The Tennessee four-piece's recent tour of the UK saw the band selling out London's Electric Ballroom and The Astoria. The Kings also made a much-heralded appearance at Glastonbury (New Bands Tent) and at T in the Park.
