A day of family fun - from 12 noon to 6pm - has been arranged by community groups.

A four-day flower festival at St Mary's Church opens on Thursday, August 14.

Donkey rides, old fashioned lemonade, punch and judy and old tyme music promise to re-create a nostalgic atmosphere.

"We've even had West Bank rock printed," said Pam Wallace, secretary of West Bank Community Forum. "Everyone has got together, it's really united West Bank." There are still some spaces for a car boot sale, starting at 10am.
