DAN's programme of summer holiday activities continues with two events, a visit to the Circus in Blackpool and a Puppet Show.
Eclipse Musical Circus will be on Tuesday, August 19 at the Globe Theatre, Blackpool.
As featured on TV's Royal Variety performance, this exciting and amazing show features Vladimir, direct from Las Vegas, the only man who can truly fly. With Olympic champion gymnasts, incredible acrobatic athleticism, breathtaking balancing feats, the speed and grace of rhythmic gymnasts and the elegance of diva ballerinas.
A coach will leave from Northwich Memorial Hall at 10am, early enough to have fish & chips on the front before watching the show at 2.45pm. Cost is £16, includes coach and stalls seats.
Meanwhile the Ugly Duckling by Clydebuilt Puppet Co. explores this famous story with a winning combination of quality tabletop puppetry and storytelling for children aged three and upwards, on Thursday, August 21 at 11am at the Harlequin Theatre, Northwich. Cost is £2.
A soft sculpture set creates a world in the same way as children do with objects around them at home; a world, which can become a farmyard, a pond or an environment for a journey through this very famous and accessible story.
Tickets for both events are available from the DAN Office in Northwich Library, or telephone Nick Hughes on 01606 41597.
