A FEARNHEAD man will carry out 120 hours of community punishment after imprisoning a woman in her own home, while high on amphetamines, in July 2001.

Twenty-year-old Nicholas Bond, of Barnes Avenue, admitted false imprisonment and assault in February last year and was sentenced to a two-year community rehabilitation order.

Paranoid Bond had discharged himself from hospital believing someone was chasing him with a gun and he forced his way into a house on Windsor Avenue on July 23, 2001, and locked the door.

Cheryl Kane, who was alone at the time, managed to call the police while Bond was being sick in the bathroom and he was arrested.

After being sentenced in February last year, Bond failed to comply with the rehabilitation order on three separate occasions and Judge David Hale re-sentenced him to 120 hours of community punishment at Warrington Crown Court.
