POLICE have identified a body found in a field at Preston Brook as John Consterdine, aged 31, of Runcorn. Police say Mr Consterdine was last seen on June 4. The body was found at farm land, just off the M56, on August 7.
Dental records were used to identify the body after a post mortem examination proved inconclusive.
Police say the death is not suspicious and an inquest has been opened and adjourned by Cheshire coroner Nicholas Rheinberg.
