A STRETTON teenager was honoured at Buckingham Palace last month as she picked up her Duke of Edinburgh gold award.
Rebecca Wright, aged 19, of London Road, worked towards the award by undertaking one year's voluntary service with St Rocco's Hospice, and she also took part in a music exchange with Hilden, Germany, which is twinned with Warrington.
Rebecca, who is a viola player, travelled to the Hilden Musikschule with Warrington Youth Orchestra and also completed a four-day hike in the Lake District.
