LONDON Broncos belied their position at the bottom of the Junior Academy Division One table with a vastly improved performance from their 62-22 defeat at Wilderspool earlier in the season.

Broncos led 8-0 after only five minutes and then 12-4 before Wolves went 14-12 up to set the tone of the game.

Scoring continued to swing back and to and London led with five minutes to go.

In the 80th minute Sean O'Neill squeezed over in the corner for his second try to steal Wolves' win and keep them on top of the table.

O'Neill had scored Warrington's opening try of the game on 19 minutes but it took others from Steve Pickersgill and Matty Wilson, converted by Craig Ashall, to put Wolves fully back in the game.

During the first 10 minutes of the second half Wolves got on top. Tries from Pickersgill and Wilson were both converted by Ashall.

London scored a converted try to leave them two points behind at 24-26.

A 57th minute unconverted try from Matthew Bryers was quickly followed by a similar effort from the Broncos and it was 28-30.

On 73 and 75 minutes Warrington conceded penalties in front of their own posts and London took advantage to lead 32-30 and set up the grandstand finish.
