WARRINGTON Wolves have got to the bottom of the injury that has seen their winger Rob Smyth miss the last three matches.
Smyth was on crutches due to the pain he was suffering from a stomach complaint that arose more than 24 hours after his last match at Halifax on July 27.
Head coach Paul Cullen said: "Rob's now off crutches but is still in that much pain that he can't drive.
"The investigations are now processed and completed. He has a tear in the groin area.
"Rob now has to work with our medical staff to manage the pain that he is in and to progress his rehabilitation. There is still no definite diagnosis on how long that will take."
