Mrs Marie Isabel Hill, wife of Mr Roy Hill, died of cancer on July 12. She was 61.
Mrs Hill, of Grasmere Avenue, Orford lived in Padgate most of her life, moving to Orford a year ago and into St Rocco's Hospice for two weeks.
She worked at the Alliance Box Works, then later in life returned to work first at the Horse and Jockey pub as a cook, then in a local chip shop.
Mrs Hill enjoyed gardening, walking her dogs, music by Steps and Celine Dion, Doris Day films and spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband, a daughter, two sons, her mother, a sister, two brothers, and three grandchildren.
A service was held on July 23, at Christ Church, Padgate followed by interment at Fox Covert. The Rev Stephen Attwater officiated.
Arrangements were made by Co-operative Funeral Services.
