THREE teenagers have been arrested after a dramatic police pursuit of a suspected stolen car in the early hours.
A white Vauxhall Corsa - which had allegedly been stolen from Albion Street, St Helens - was spotted by Lancashire Police heading towards Kirkby.
Officers in St Helens were alerted and the car was tracked by police helicopter and patrol cars for about 90 minutes through St Helens before being abandoned in Malvern Road, Parr.
It is alleged that four men fled the car and a manhunt took place. Three arrests were made by police but a fourth man was not found.
Police say two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old, from the St Helens area have been charged with unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle.
