EARLESTOWN Cricket Club continued their improvement in form by taking a share of the spoils with Hesketh Barn on Saturday.
They bowled out the visitors for 169 runs. Paul Jay and Shaun Bridgit took three wickets each while Cheshire and Allan both chipped in with two.
In reply, Earlestown batted quite well but they lost wickets at regular intervals and finished 18 runs short of their target with only one wicket remaining.
The pick of Earlestown's batsmen were Lomas, Harrison and Cheshire, who all scored at least 30 runs.
