RECKLESS vandals ripped a security system, guttering and a downspout off Runcorn Baptist Church, causing extensive damage.
It is the latest in a spate of attacks at the Palacefields' place of worship.
Elder David Brash, said: "It's a continuous problem.

"They've ripped the bell box off the security system. It could cost up to £1,000 to put in a new system."
Graffiti is daubed all over the church and several windows have been broken in earlier incidents.
"It's typical Runcorn idle youth," said Rev Brash. "We're next door to a youth club but many of these kids are not allowed to go there because they are so badly behaved."
He urged parents to be more responsible.
"I don't know how parents can allow their children to do this.
"If these children behaved themselves, they would receive more help."
