DEVELOPERS who are building nearly 150 homes on a 10-acre site in Kingswood are asking local residents and parish councillors to come up with a name for the ring road around the new estate.
Bellway Homes is building 149 houses and apartments on land near junction eight of the M62 and they have asked Burtonwood and Westbrook Parish Council to decide what the road should be called.
Some residents would prefer to see 'green' in the name while others would like to carry on with the medieval theme on the Kingswood estate.
If a decision is not made before the end of August, it will be discussed at the next parish council meeting on Wednesday, September 17.
