A RUCNORN man has been filmed partying and meeting celebrities for six months for a new reality TV show.

James Wilkinson has been living in a nine-bedroom apartment in Cardiff with three other people.

Camera crews have tracked his every move for a show similar to MTV's The Real World, to be shown on ITV2 in February.

"I just acted like myself," he said.

"The camera crew can portray you in different ways - but I have gone along with it and whatever they show, it's what I've done!"

His antics included stripping off on the steps of Cardiff Town Hall and clubbing in Ibiza. James, from Baycliffe Close in Beechwoood, is a football fanatic and the show took him to Radio One's FA cup party with Chris Moyles and Sara Cox.

"We've also had some mad parties. At one there must have been more than 80 people. We had an Irish band on the first floor and a two DJs on the second floor," he said.

James, aged 22, had never lived away from home before.

"I'm pretty much settled here now," he said. "I just love it here and I am sad I'm leaving. I enjoy coming back home but the people I have met here are like my brothers and sisters."

James said he is looking forward to getting recognised by strangers and is open to the idea of a TV career.

"Whatever happens, happens!" he said.
