SOUTH Cheshire Chamber is hoping to encourage more companies to achieve Investors In People.
Additional funding including business support and training up to the value of £2,000 is available to companies employing between 5 and 49 people who successfully achieve the standard.
Help can be provided with workforce development and business planning and there are a whole range of training workshops available at the Chambers Training centre that are specifically designed to enhance staff skills.
The chamber's chief executive John Dunning said:
"The most valuable asset in any company is its people.
"But you need to have the right people in the right jobs with the right attitudes and the right range of skills.
"This is exactly what Investors in People is all about."
