Mr John Broadhurst, husband of Mrs Pat Broadhurst, died of cancer on June 21. He was 67.
Mr Broadhurst, of St Bridget's Close, Fearnhead lived in Warrington all his life.
He worked at the Box Works, Greenings, Barclays Bank Cash Centre at Woolston, and saw national service at Mill Hill.
Mr Broadhurst enjoyed wine-making and belonged to several societies in Newton and Warrington, winning prizes for his wine. He enjoyed holding dinner parties, gardening, DIY, and walking holidays in Italy and Slovenia.
He leaves his wife, a daughter, two sons, a stepson, and two grandchildren.
A service was held on June 30, at Walton Lea, followed by cremation.
Arrangements were made by Co-operative Funeral Services.
