UNITED Co-op Late shop, Lowton, played host to a group of executives from the China Federation of supply and marketing co-operatives.
The group visited Lowton as part of their UK tour, which also included visits to Scotland and the south east.
The aim of the tour was for the group to gain a greater understanding of the co-operative system and familiarise themselves with how they operate, see what the stores are like and experience the atmosphere of shopping in one of the stores.
One of the guests, Zhang Wang-shu, said: "The store looks great.
"I really like how light it is, how roomy and the pleasant atmosphere.
"We have gained a great deal of information from our visit to Lowton, which I am planning to pass onto other colleagues on my return to China."
