NEWTON theatre fans can check out performer Su Andi's poignant and humorous one-woman show to The Citadel in St Helens as part of the borough's ongoing arts festival.

The Story of M, which examines life in Liverpool and Manchester from the 1940s to the 1980s, has had audiences throughout the UK and overseas laughing.

The show, tomorrow, Friday, August 22, is free as part of the month-long festival. The performance will start at 7pm. To book your place, contact the Citadel on 01744 735436.
