WEST Park found their opponents Leigh strong opposition in the first of their two pre-season warm-up games at Leigh on Saturday.
Park were without several of last season's senior squad due to holidays and drafted in some of their most promising youngsters.
It was however the experienced half-back pairing of 'Daz' Wilson and Ian Callaghan which took the eye.
Next Saturday Park have their second pre-season game at Fylde before their Powergen Cup Preliminary tie at home to Hull Ionians on August 30. West Park Warriors also have a cup-tie on the same weekend with Chorley as opponents in a first round Lancashire Plate game at Red Rocks.
