Thatto Heath & District Darts League 301 Major Cup result, second semi final between York and Vine

York were too strong for the Vine, with a good win for K Lee, who went on first and started the ball rolling.

Then T Mercer from the Vine went on and made it 1-1. York then went 4-1 up with wins from J Platt, I Burns and S Comber.

The York's Dave Bridge went on and threw some good darts and clinched the match for York making it 5-1, the final score was 7-1.

York now face the Sprayhurst in the final on September 5 at the Globe who sponsor it.

In the Consolation Cup sponsored by Moss Bank Labour Club, the second semi final was between Swan and Prescot Reform (B).

Swan stormed to a 7-2 victory with good games from P Albrecht, G Nash, R Cook and a special mention for Linda Nealon who went on last with some good darts to make it 7-2 for Swan.

This final is played on August 29 between Swan and Nags Head at Moss Bank Labour Club.
