A HAIRDRESSER is at the end of his tether after vandals smashed his shop window, causing £700 worth of damage.
Paul Johnson, who owns Johnno's men's hairdressers in Queen Street, says in the past five or six years his premises have been attacked or burgled at least eight times.
Paul only moved into his present building a year ago and since then vandals have caused around £2,000 of damage.
This latest incident happened between 6.30pm on August 8 and 12.10am on August 9 and the window was situated at the rear of the premises.
Paul said: "I think it is drunken people on their way home from the pub.
"I'm just fed up. £700 is quite a high price and it is affecting the way I my business can now operate."
