STAGESTRUCK teenagers have their hearts set on making it to the big time.
Gifted drama students Toni Smith, 17, and Andrew Kurphey, 17, are determined to have a hit - in Broadway!
They've already formed their own theatre company and are now rehearsing a show, Westend to Broadway.
"We want to perform in the West End and Broadway," said Toni.
Toni will be singing well known hits from shows including Memories, Fame, Cats, Les Miserables.
Musical director Julia Grey, 17, will be conducting a mini orchestra of musicians playing trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, piano and guitar.
Andrew Kurphey, said: "We're still looking for people to help out behind the scenes. If anyone has a sound system, that would be a great help."
Toni and Andrew, both students at Widnes Sixth Form College, are appealing to anyone with costumes or make-up experience to get in touch.
They raised £60 to help fund their show by entertaining residents at Ferndale and members of St Michael's Club.
Their show is at Ditton Community Centre, Dundalk Road, Widnes at 7.30pm on Tuesday, September 16 and Friday, September 19.
Tickets priced £2.50 adults and £1.50 children/OAP's are available from 0151-423 3121.
If you can help behind the scenes, please call Andrew on 077933-50641.
