THE wedding took place recently of Derek Jones of Great Budworth and Dr Joan McGuirk. Derek is the widower of the late Pamela Jones and Joan is the youngest daughter of the late James and Cathleen McGuirk, of Dun Laoire.
The service was at St Mary and All Saints, Great Budworth and was conducted by the Rev Alec Brown. The reception was held at the couple's home.
The bride wore a champagne dress and carried a bouquet of roses, carnations, freesia and gypsophila. Best man was Alan Oldroyd and flower girl was Caroline O'Shea, bride's niece.
