AGAIN we see the short-sightedness of the authorities who sanctioned the building of the present bridge.
It was obvious that the bridge was designed too narrow when it was built.
Had it have been built with eight or 10 lanes it would, I believe, have been adequate for the next 50 years, now more money has to be spent.
