BIDDULPH Vics were thrashed 4-0 at home by Rocester on Monday as they went down to defeat for the second time in three days.

The Vics lost 1-0 at Willenhall Town on Saturday, having created enough chances to gain at least a point.

Rocester took the lead on 12 minutes when Vics' keeper Taylor failed to hold onto a whipped in cross, and Mitchell headed in.

Rocester had a player sent off two minutes before half-time, and Kirk for the Vics hit the post from several feet out after the keeper dropped the ball.

Rocester went two up 10 minutes into the second half when Holland headed in, and seven minutes later it was 3-0 when a player lobbed Taylor.

Rocester scored their fourth with 12 minutes left.

Willenhall broke the deadlock on Saturday with 19 minutes left.

They took a quick free kick while several Vics players were protesting about the decision with the referee, and the ball was crossed in for Pearce to head home.

The Vics travel to Borrowash Victoria tomorrow in the FA Cup.

If there is no replay they will be at home next Tuesday to Stafford Town.
