Congleton took the lead on Saturday five minutes before the break when Worthington released Williams down the left.

He crossed for an unmarked Wills at the far post, who hammered the ball into the top corner.

Conkie produced an excellent save in the first part of the second half when Squires launched a counter attack.

The ball was crossed to the far post, where Bradford hit a shot which Conkie pushed out.

Congleton went two up with 20 minutes left after a long clearance by Conkie.

Worthington latched onto the ball and rattled a shot home from 12 yards out.

The Bears scored their third with six minutes to go.

A cross from Burke cleared the defence, and Scully ghosted in at the far post to head home from six yards.

Congleton travel to Shepshed Dynamo tomorrow in the preliminary round of the FA Cup.

If there is no replay they are at home next Tuesday to Winsford in the Cheshire Senior Cup
