THIS year's Griffin Cup football tournament was won by Team Bunby who were last year's runners-up.
The team deservedly won after defeating Seb's Magic Football Team in a gripping final which ended 3-2.
The Roy Hood Group won a close 1-0 victory to secure third place over Minority while Mayhem Inc finished in fifth place.
The Griffin Cup continues to be a serious fixture on the calendar of any local football fan.
Each year the event provides a day of football and fun, and this year was no exception.
Co-organiser Peter Griffin said: "This year's tournament was a great success as always."
Last year's event drew a crowd of over 100 people to Rudheath Leisure Centre. Details concerning next year's tournament will be released in January.
