Westy Youth Council has returned from a voyage and it hopes that the lessons learned on the high seas can be incorporated into its work for the community.
The youth council spent a week in July sailing from Liverpool and around Anglesey.
The members had to face many challenges like night sailing, putting up sails, learning how to tie knots and understanding navigation.
They had to learn how to work well as a team.
The youth council holds meetings on alternate Wednesdays at Westy Community Centre.
