I AM writing to air my views to your recent letters (Dear Star, August 7 and July 31) regarding the parents having to pay bus fares for sending their children to Rainford High School. These parents have chosen to send their children to a secondary school out of their area, why shouldn't they pay their bus fares?
I have recently moved into Rainford village to find there are no places at the High School for my daughter (Year Seven). I have been offered another school which is two bus journeys from Rainford.
