VILLAGE groups in Appleton Thorn could be set to benefit from proposals to build a new community room at St Cross Church.
An application has been submitted for the extension of the church, on Stretton Road, to provide a toilet, kitchen and community room.
The new toilets, including space for additional unisex facilities, will feature a baby-changing area.
