MODEL railway fanatics will get the chance to peruse a host of trains and tracks at an annual exhibition next month.

The Warrington Model Railway Club will be putting on special displays at its exhibition on September 6 and 7 at Woolston Community High School.

Club secretary David Brown said: "We hope as many people as possible will come along and see the model trains. As well as being a fascinating subject, it's also great fun and we'll be delighted to answer any questions from people who are interested."

On Saturday, August 16, the club put on a special show at Golden Square Shopping Centre to raise awareness about the event.

Warrington Model Railway Club was formed in 1966 and now has 35 members who meet once a week to build layouts to exhibition standards.
