THE question of whether a house can be built on land in Bellhouse Lane in Grappenhall will be scrutinised again by borough councillors, after a council officer error made their last decision invalid.

Members of the council's development control committee will visit 34, Bellhouse Lane, before making their final judgement on whether a house can be put up there.

As reported in the Guardian earlier this month, they had backed the scheme weeks ago, but as officers failed to give neighbours the opportunity to comment on the plan, it was sent back to committee.

After visiting the site, the councillors will vote on the application next month.
